2017/2018 Fall-Winter Color Trends.

As the season changes, the desire to renew your furniture makes itself manifest. So why don’t you combine the wish for a new atmosphere with the contemporary allure of the new fall/winter color trends? Here are some suggestions on the most fashionable colors of the moment, inspired by 2018 furniture trends and the shades chosen by the Pantone Institute.

Pink. Delicate shades, discrete elegance, pastel paints. Pink is once again the protagonist, enlivening the grey monotony of rainy days with its relaxing harmony. Preferable in its powder and bon ton nuances, which you can combine with white and mint green. Quilts, curtains, and furnishings you should use with moderation to avoid a cloying effect.

Blue. Turquoise is the real 2018 fall/winter must. Even better if contrasted with a warm shade of orange. Choose them combined for armchairs and cushions, beds and carpets, furniture and furnishings. The result will be so pleasing that you can push it a bit and include doors and walls. If you’re thinking of a wall with a flush-to-the-wall door, it is the moment to use these colors in deliberate contrast.

Purple. A magical color, rich in effect and symbolism. Recommended for introspection and an inclination for meditation. Splendid if combined with dove-grey or metallic textiles, with almond beige and brilliant white.

Green. Greenery is the emblematic color of 2017. Like all shades inspired by nature and foliage – from lime to sage green – it can be effectively combined with light blue and powder blue. Ideal for details and furnishings, like small energy pills scattered all over the house.

Yellow. The most effective cure for an dull winter? A bright yellow to light up the atmosphere. One of the best loved colors of fall, it can be used with neutral colors or combined with shades of rust and dark green.
